What We Do
Black Virtual Career Fair (BVCF) is a joint venture of two Black professional organizations found in the San Francisco Bay Area: the African American Employee Network (AAEN), a communications network serving and supporting Bay Area African American professionals in the area of information, events (education, networking) and career development, and Onyx Community Connection (Onyx), a Black professionals organization committed to amplifying Black excellence through regular business, social and community service events and communications. Together AAEN and Onyx communications directly reach over 100,000 Black professionals in Northern California, and leverage their syndicated network to reach qualified candidates in major hubs nationwide.
Our mission is to provide career advancement and leadership opportunities for Black professionals. We do this through virtual career fairs that streamline the recruitment process and target our audience of talented Black professionals gathered via offline business, cultural and tech events; and opt-in email marketing.
There are actions each and every one of us can take to advance diversity at our organizations, no matter if you're a recruiter, hiring manager or a CEO. Black Virtual Career Fair's continuous aggregation of talented black professionals in combination with a platform provides a perfect diversity sourcing solution for high growth companies with positions to fill and a narrow pipeline to diverse networks.
